3. Record keeping Consult the Payroll Officer in any company and answer the following: (a) What record keeping system is being used? (b) What categorisation system do they use? (c) For how long do they keep records on salaries and wages? |
4. Budgeting Consult any Line Manager in any company and answer the following: (a) How often do they have to budget? (b) Briefly explain how they set up a Staff Budget. (b) How do they use the budget as a “Control Tool”? (c) Name any “System Process” in the business and basically explain the process (example, the monthly process to compile a payroll, a process of production evaluation, a process of purchases, etc.) |
