2-Application of pattern recognition: There are many types of applications used in pattern recognition describe briefly these applications, choose one of them and introduce in details how this application works with defining all the technologies used in modules to implement this application.

3- Pattern recognition process (case study): Assume you work in a factory has a machine for producing in one day 1 thousand of two different types of toys (car and airplane with different colour and different size, the car is bigger in size than airplane) and it is required from you to design a robot for classifying the two different type of toys into two cans one for cars only and the other type for airplanes), explain with introducing all the required components for designing this robot to classify the two different types of toys, the general block diagram with describing the processing steps for implementing this required system, the different activities , all the important issues that may be occur during implementation and how this issues can be solved or has a little effect on this specified system.

4- Bayes classifier: include Bayes algorithm and how this algorithm used in classification, suppose two different applications one to illustrate how this algorithm work and the other to obtain the decision boundary in feature space.

5- Hidden Markov Model (HMM): include definition and the required parameters (initial, state and emission probabilities) used to predict the joint probability of sequence of states U1, U2,…with observations 01,02,… {P(U1,U2,…Un,01,02,0,,:given parameters)} and illustrate these in an assigned application.

6- Linear classifier: include definition, structure, processing steps with algorithms to obtain the output decision and how the learning is satisfied.
