Introduction
Psychology is one of the main disciplines used to study and understand the thinking of a normal human being. This discipline helps one identify the impact that a specific situation has on the human brain and plays an important role in the formation of perception towards a specific thing.
Psychology is one of the most important subjects, and today, it is used in a number of areas, such as marketing and human resource management (Ziping, 2011).
In the current report, a detailed study is done regarding the Psychology that people have towards their jobs, careers, office environments, etc. In this regard, regression analysis is done, and some independent and dependent variables are taken into consideration. Cronbach alpha is also used to measure the reliability of the scale. Finally, the discussion section is prepared in the report.
Method
In statistics, several tools and methods are often employed by researchers to analyze the data and reliability of scales. In the current report, regression analysis is done, and six variables are analyzed under this.
The coefficient and significant difference among variables are identified using these tools (Choobforush Zadeh, Kalantari & Molavi, 2010).
Cronbach alpha is also computed to measure scale reliability and ensure that data can be considered for analysis purposes. The current research study uses the Kolmogorov and Smirnov tests to check the normality of data.
Results
Hypothesis 1
H0: There is no significant/major difference between the behaviour under which one abstains from confronting others and the negative feelings that one has towards oneself.
H1: There is a significant/major difference between the behaviour under which one abstains from confronting others and the negative feelings that one has towards oneself.
Cronbach alpha
Cronbach’s alpha reveals that the data is reliable in nature, and appropriate scales are used in the present research. The statistical tool’s value is 0.564, and the validity percentage is 95.6%.
Out of all the questions, only the question “I have the potential to succeed in life” can be removed. This is because if it is deleted, the value of Chronbach alpha will not decline at a fast rate.
Normality
Results reflect that in case of most of variables value of the level of significance is >0.05 which reflects that in case of most of categorical variables data is normally distributed.
Regression
Results reflect that the value of R is 0.524 followed by R square 0.274. Adjusted R square value is 0.258, and this means that with slight modification in the model value can be changed to 0.258 from 0.274. Level of significance is 0.00
Hypothesis 2
H0: There is no major difference between the condition under which one feel useless and damaging feeling when other colleagues do not support self-actions.
H1: There is a significant/major difference between the condition under which one feel useless and harmful feeling when other colleagues do not support self-actions.
Normality
Value of level of significance is higher than 0.05 which is a standard value, and it can be said that data for both variables are normally distributed.
Regression
Results depicted that R-value is 0.622 and R square is equivalent to 0.387. Adjusted R square is 0.373 followed by the value of the level of significance is 0.714 which mean that there is no significant difference between dependent and independent variable.
Hypothesis 3
H0: There is no significant/major difference between the perception that people have in respect to them in terms of potential about achieving success in life and achievement of goals.
H1: There is no significant/major difference between the perceptions that people have concerning them in terms of their potential to achieve success in life and the achievement of goals.
Normality
Results are revealing that data is not normally distributed and this is verified from the low value of the level of significance which is less than 0.05.
Regression
Level of significant difference is 0.328>0.05, which means there is an important/major difference between the mean values of the variables. Apart from this, the value of R and R square is 0.153 and 0.023 and adjusted R square valued at -0.01. This reflects that there is no significant difference between dependent and independent variables.
Discussion
The results reflect a significant mean difference between the dependent and independent variables. The table shows that the level of significance is 0.00. The Results in respect to the second hypothesis reflect a significant difference between the dependent and independent variables.
Results indicate that when peers do not approve actions taken by the individual regarding work, one feels useless to a great extent.
This is further supported by the fact that the value of R is 0.622, which reflects a moderate relationship between the dependent and independent variable.
R squared indicates that 38% of variation comes from the extent to which one feels useless when someone shows less confidence in the actions of the same person.

Regarding the third hypothesis, the level of significance is 0.328, which is higher than 0.05, which means that there is no significant mean difference between the dependent and independent variables.
Means that if one assumes that same has huge potential to become a successful person, then it is not necessary that chances of achievement of goals will increase to a great extent.
This is proved from the fact that R-value is 0.153 which reflects that there is a low degree of relationship between the dependent and independent variable. Moreover, the value of R square is 0.023 which means that 2% variation comes in the dependent variable with change in the independent variable.
Overall it can be said that achievement of goals and perception that one has huge potential to get success in life are different. The positive perception that one can do anything does not lead to the achievement of determined goals to a great extent. Hence, one must focus on hard work instead of focusing on a merely positive attitude toward oneself.
