2. To understand park users perceptions toward the public exercise stations in the park.<\/p>\n

3. To investigate if the public exercise stations enhance people\u2019s perception of the park and the Local Council.<\/p>\n

4. To analyse why people are using the public exercise stations, what are their attitudes towards them, and if this equipment has contributed to positive physical activity behaviour in park users. Purpose The project examines the impact of providing outdoor stretch stations and exercise equipment and integrated online support (via wireless pedometer technology) at selected parks within WA Local Councils.<\/p>\n

The research will examine the perceptions and usage behaviour of park users at three locations. This project quantitatively measures people\u2019s perception, response and attitudes toward the variety of equipment at each site. In addition, the equipment\u2019s\u2019 impact in terms of physical activity behaviour change was assessed. In particular, Local Councils would like to ascertain.<\/strong><\/p>\n
