It includes company background information and a declaration of commitment to the selected aspects of sustainability. This means that evidence of your current skills and knowledge will be measured against national and international standards of best practice, not against the learning you have undertaken either recently or in the past. (How well can you do the job?)<\/p>\n<p>Some of the assessment will be concerned with how you apply the skills and knowledge in your workplace, and some in the training room.<\/p>\n<p>The assessment tasks utilized in this training have been designed to enable you to demonstrate the required skills and knowledge and produce the critical evidence required so you can successfully demonstrate competency at the required standard.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h3><strong>What happens if your result is \u2018Not Yet Competent\u2019 for one or more assessment tasks?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The assessment process is designed to answer the question \u201chas the participant satisfactorily demonstrated competence yet?\u201d If the answer is \u201cNot yet\u201d, then we work with you to see how we can get there.<\/p>\n<p>In the case that one or more of your assessments has been marked \u2018NYC\u2019, your Trainer will provide you with the necessary feedback and guidance, in order for you to resubmit\/redo your assessment task(s).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What if you disagree on the assessment outcome?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You can appeal against a decision made in regards to an assessment of your competency. An appeal should only be made if you have been assessed as \u2018Not Yet Competent\u2019 against specific competency standards and you feel you have sufficient grounds to believe that you are entitled to be assessed as competent.<\/p>\n<p>You must be able to adequately demonstrate that you have the skills and experience to be able to meet the requirements of the unit you are appealing against the assessment of.<\/p>\n<p>You can request a form to make an appeal and submit it to your Trainer, the Course Coordinator, or an Administration Officer. The RTO will examine the appeal and you will be advised of the outcome within 14 days. Any additional information you wish to provide may be attached to the form.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What if I believe I am already competent before training?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you believe you already have the knowledge and skills to be able to demonstrate competence in this unit, speak with your Trainer, as you may be able to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Credit Transfer<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Credit transfer is recognition for study you have already completed. To receive Credit Transfer, you must be enrolled in the relevant program. Credit Transfer can be granted if you provide the RTO with certified copies of your qualifications, a Statement of Attainment or a Statement of Results along with Credit Transfer Application Form. He realises that this is at least partly due to existing MacVille policy and procedure documents not reflecting current business sector requirements. MacVille is instituting a new work team within their head office with the objective of assisting MacVille to become a leading practitioner in triple bottom line sustainable practices within the coffee industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The team will be tasked to review work practices within all of MacVille\u2019s activities, especially the coffee buying, roasting and coffee shops. They will be required to develop best practice models to increase sustainability practices across the organisation. This will involve training and educating all staff through use of internal professional development opportunities, newsletters and other similar approaches.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The work team is also required to develop materials to inform and educate clients and the general community about MacVille\u2019s sustainable activities and encourage participation in activities and practices that lead to better environmental outcomes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>MacVille will be recruiting internal and external (yet to be advertised) staff to fill places in the new work team, and will require individuals capable of working within a team to investigate and solve problems.
